Hello, thank you for visiting my website!

In a world full of choices, it’s important to choose a celebrant who’s right for you.

A celebrant is not just someone who can deliver words, a eulogy or help with vows, it’s about being empathetic … it’s about connection.

I am grateful to be entrusted with people’s stories and to help create ceremonies that both bring comfort, or celebrate love, and honour life in all its stages. As a celebrant, I take the time to truly listen to ensure each ceremony feels personal and authentic.

Let me tell you a little about myself to help with your decision.

My name is Natalie and I’m an Independent Civil Celebrant covering Essex and the surrounding area. I’m also a very proud mum to a grown up son, two cats and a pony (of course my son thinks he’s my favourite).

Having spent over 20 years working as a celebrity PA, and with all the trials and tribulations that role brought, I came to realise I wanted to use my time in a more meaningful way - supporting people and helping them celebrate and honour life’s most important milestones.
 

Being part of that world, gave me the experience and abilities needed to flourish as a celebrant. The industry taught me patience, resilience and working under pressure, and that no detail is too small!

Some of my early work, and indeed the beginning of my passion for organising life’s most important moments, started whilst working for an ex-employer. As his PA at that time, I arranged his wedding, which was an intimate affair, albeit covered by Hello! magazine. Sadly, a year later, I had the ultimate honour of arranging his funeral, and a few months on, his memorial service held in The Mall, London, which put my skills and resilience to the highest test.

I’ve always been someone who genuinely enjoys being around people and listening to their stories and I firmly believe that, having the privilege of telling someone’s personal story, should absolutely reflect them and incorporate not only what they want to say, but also how it’s said. Only you know whether that should be solemn and serious, humorous and witty, celebrating love or honouring a life …. but, together, we can make it happen.

Life is full of moments to be celebrated, be that sad or joyful. These moments all deserve to be treasured.

As your celebrant, it would be my privilege to help you honour those moments in the most unique way.
